Unable to cope after her conservationist father vanishes while on a trip to the UK, zoology nerd Kelly Carter abandons university in New York for a wildlife course at an English manor house to cure her new zoophobia and stop the freakish animal incidents that plague her life.

At Albion Hall, Kelly doesn’t expect to discover that magic is real. Or to learn that her father was involved with a secret society that protects mythical creatures. Or fall for the manor’s gardener, Tom Farthing, who is quietly serious and seriously hot.

To find her father, Kelly must navigate the dangerous world of the Conservium, where no-one is quite who they seem. Kelly couldn’t handle the normal world, so how is she supposed to survive in a magical one, where she’ll have to risk everything to uncover the truth?
